Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous beverage, bar, restaurant, casino, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must successfully obtain and maintain all required Tribal Gaming Commission licensing.
- Must complete and maintain Acorn Ridge Casino's required Responsible Alcohol Service training and any other required certifications before serving alcohol.

Working Conditions
The Pouring Barback works throughout the casino's beverage outlets, including casino bars, beverage carts, banquet areas, and special events. This position requires continuous
interaction with guests while maintaining compliance with all Tribal Gaming Commission regulations, casino policies, and responsible alcohol service standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, pour, and deliver alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Acorn Ridge Casino standards and approved recipes.
- Support bartenders during high-volume periods to maintain efficient beverage service.
- Stock bars with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, juices, syrups, garnishes, ice, glassware, and operating supplies.
- Change beer kegs safely by following proper CO₂ shut-off and pressure release procedures.
- Maintain accurate rotation of perishables and beverage products using First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of shortages or ordering needs.
- Maintain clean and organized bar stations, coolers, storage rooms, sinks, counters, and work areas.
- Collect, wash, polish, and organize glassware, bar tools, and equipment.
- Remove trash and recyclables promptly while maintaining sanitation standards.
- Assist with opening and closing duties for beverage outlets.
- Verify guest identification when required and assist in preventing alcohol service to underage guests.
- Recognize signs of intoxication and immediately notify the bartender or supervisor when guests should no longer be served.
- Report any attempts to provide alcohol to visibly intoxicated or previously cut-off guests.
