GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our creative team in the Nashville, Tennessee, office, supporting a variety of themed entertainment, hospitality, and resort development projects. This role will collaborate with designers, project managers, and creative directors to develop compelling visual materials that communicate design intent, enhance storytelling, and support project presentations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create information design presentations that support various phases of creative development and project communication.
- Provide design support for environmental graphics, signage, and wayfinding projects by assisting in design development and preparation of technical documentation.
- Develop and organize signage design packages, including conceptual layouts, production drawings, and presentation boards.
- Produce visual design documentation through illustrations, renderings, scaled graphics, photography, and research for assigned projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help translate creative concepts into visual storytelling elements across diverse environments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with presentation tools such as PowerPoint or Keynote.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage responsibilities with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work through conflict, and to problem-solve issues to resolution
- Ability to understand the needs of the client and to maintain relationships between the internal and external design team
- Ability to take direction, adapt to change, establish relationships, and work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- A general knowledge of reading basic construction documents, such as floor plans and wall elevations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Currently pursuing a degree or recently graduated in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Art, or a related field.
