Model Maker

We are seeking a skilled Sample Maker to create product samples as per our design specifications.

The responsibilities of the Sample Maker will include interpreting design drafts, selecting materials, constructing samples, making alterations, and presenting stunning samples for review.

Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of various materials, fabrication methods, and possesses exceptional hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Ultimately, the role of the Sample Maker is to deliver high-quality, accurate samples that can serve as a blueprint for mass production.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting design drafts and creating product samples.
• Selecting appropriate materials based on design specifications.
• Utilizing various tools and equipment to construct samples.
• Performing alterations and adjustments on samples as required.
• Presenting samples to design teams for review and modifications.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Keeping inventory of materials and ordering supplies as needed.
• Documenting the sample creation process for future reference.
• Collaborating with designers and production teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sample Maker or similar role in production.
• Knowledge of various materials and production methods.
• Proficiency with hand tools and industrial equipment.
• Exceptional hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Able to interpret and execute design specifications.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in a relevant field is advantageous.

• Experience working with all plastics, primarily, acrylic and finishing processes including but not limited to, heat bending, glueing and various polishing techniques
