General Handyman

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Handyman to join our team. This role involves performing repairs and maintenance for customers, particularly addressing damages to mailboxes, fences, and other property elements resulting from tree removal activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently to deliver quality service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct repairs for customers’ property damages, including mailboxes, fences, and other structures caused during tree removal or related activities
• Assess repair needs on-site and determine appropriate solutions efficiently
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as fixing or replacing damaged fixtures and components
• Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair processes and timelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after job completion
• Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal and team safety

Requirements

• Proven experience in general handyman work or related repair roles
• Ability to perform repairs involving various materials such as wood, metal, and plastic
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various outdoor conditions
• Reliable transportation to access different job sites
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
• Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to repair work and outdoor environments

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
