Craftsman/Handyman/Multi Skilled

Position Overview

Are you a skilled tradesperson who loves the hands-on variety of home improvement but is tired of the endless hassle of chasing leads, bidding on jobs, and managing unpredictable schedules? We are looking for a highly skilled Craftsman / Handyman to join our team. In this role, you will focus on what you do best: solving problems and delivering high-quality craftsmanship directly to our customers. This position offers the independence of field work combined with the stability, consistent schedule, and support of a locally owned business backed by a trusted national brand.

What Success Looks Like

On a day-to-day basis, you will arrive at scheduled residential or light commercial jobs ready to complete a variety of repair and improvement projects. You will be responsible for evaluating the task at hand, executing the work safely and efficiently, and keeping the customer informed throughout the process.

Over time, success in this role means building strong customer relationships, maintaining high standards of quality, and proactively identifying additional repair needs on properties to help customers keep their homes in top shape. You will work independently in the field but remain a vital part of a collaborative, supportive team environment.

Daily Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of home repairs and improvements, including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, tiling, and basic plumbing and electrical work.

• Assess project needs, plan the correct course of action, and complete tasks within a reasonable timeframe.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, explaining repair processes and identifying additional maintenance or repair needs on-site.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area on every job.

• Manage job documentation and coordinates with the office team as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Proven professional experience across multiple trades (such as carpentry, drywall, plumbing, tile, construction, maintenance, or electrical).

• Ownership of a reliable truck or van suitable for transporting tools and materials.

• A comprehensive set of personal hand and power tools.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a professional and reliable demeanor.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the independence to complete tasks without constant supervision.

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Nice-to-Haves:

• 20 or more years of multi-skilled trade experience is highly valued and preferred.

• Prior experience working in residential remodeling or home maintenance services.
