Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to source high-quality materials and components from reliable suppliers.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure delivery excellence.
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to process purchase orders, track inventory levels, and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams to align supply plans with demand forecasts using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools.
- Oversee inventory management activities including inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse logistics to optimize stock levels.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to streamline inbound/outbound shipments and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Conduct demand planning analyses to anticipate future needs, reduce waste, and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or materials management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and related supply chain software.
- Familiarity with MRP processes, inventory control techniques, and demand planning methodologies.
- Excellent supplier management skills with the ability to negotiate contracts and foster long-term partnerships.
- Experience working in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain management is highly desirable.
- Ability to analyze data effectively and utilize tools like ERP systems for decision-making.
