Quality Manager - $100k - $145k 15% bonus
On site in Fort Wayne Indiana (relocation Support available)

This role provides the leadership needed to establish, maintain, and elevate quality standards across sanitation, ingredients, packaging, and overall quality systems management. Acting as the “Guardian” of quality compliance, this position challenges all functions across the value chain to ensure the highest levels of product quality and regulatory adherence. The role also delivers key technical expertise to support food safety, FDA compliance, and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and instill high-quality standards and ownership across the full value chain
- Lead by example and ensure all responsibilities are carried out in compliance with Quality and Food Safety policies
- Promote behavioral and cultural improvements related to quality
- Direct, supervise, and administer all QA activities across all phases of factory production
- Report quality KPIs and insights in daily operational meetings
- Drive improvement initiatives and monitor facility Quality Metrics/KPIs
- Assess performance of quality systems, report effectiveness, and implement improvements
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit programmes (e.g., FSSC 22000, market audits)
- Ensure effective operation of HACCP and Food Safety teams
- Lead Hygiene and GMP programmes across the factory and external warehouse
- Represent company values and operating model through daily behaviours
- Identify and implement best practices from within the facility or wider network
- Manage QA-related projects from concept to implementation
- Provide technical support/resources to co-manufacturers and affiliates
- Challenge all departments on quality matters and drive cross-functional accountability
- Partner with corporate teams to investigate consumer complaint trends and develop resolutions
- Participate in Factory Crisis Management Team
- Communicate new or updated regulatory policies across the facility
- Support local, state, and federal agencies as needed
- Lead monthly KPI reviews and support achievement of annual site objectives
- Oversee Goods-In Check control processes
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.S. in Food Science, Dairy Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or similar discipline
- 5–7 years of Quality Management experience within food manufacturing or consumer goods
- 2–3 years of factory QA experience, preferably at a QA Manager level
- Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, GMPs, allergen control, sanitary design/controls, pest control, food regulations, lab methods, and basic food technology
- Solid understanding of quality systems, principles, microbiological monitoring, and hygiene controls
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
