Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental Health and Safety Engineer. The Environmental Health and Safety Engineer will be responsible for:
- Implementing and managing EHS policies and regulations,
- Performing Job Hazard Assessments
- Coordinating or conducting training sessions
- Maintaining Safety Data Sheet files
- Managing chemical waste disposal
- Assisting with dangerous goods shipping regulations (DOT/IATA/IMDG) compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- At least 5 years of experience implementing and managing general industry EHS programs
- Experience in chemical manufacturing is preferred
- Experience managing chemical waste disposal
- Experience with dangerous goods shipping regulations is preferred
- Certification as an ASP, CSP, or CHMM is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
