1099 Recruiter

NOTE:  Qualified candidates can expect to work approximately 20 - 30 hours per week on 1099 in this temporary role.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Part-Time Contract Recruiter to support our talent acquisition efforts by identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent across a variety of departments. This role is ideal for an experienced recruiting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building relationships, and can independently manage the full recruitment lifecycle. In addition to recruiting responsibilities, the Recruiter will assist with onboarding coordination and support key hiring-related administrative processes.

General Responsibilities:

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers. 
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. 
• Create and post job advertisements across various job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks. 
• Proactively source qualified candidates through online recruiting tools, networking, referrals, and talent databases. 
• Conduct candidate phone screens and initial assessments to evaluate qualifications and cultural fit. 
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers. 
• Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. 
• Track and manage candidate activity within the applicant tracking system and ensure accurate recruiting records.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics, including scheduling orientation sessions, collecting employment documentation, and facilitating new hire setup. 
• Maintain accurate candidate and employee information within Paylocity and other HR systems. 
• Support onboarding-related data entry and documentation processes. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of recruiting experience
• Part-time independent contractor position
• Available 20-30 hours per week. Flexible schedule based on hiring needs and recruitment activity 
• Familiarity with HRIS systems, specifically Paylocity and recruiting operations 
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• comfortable working independently, managing multiple requisitions, and delivering a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers
• Excellent verbal, electronic, and written communication, and customer service skills
• Work with peers and all departments for the common goals of the organization
• Ability to utilize technology devices, software and applications, previous experience with Microsoft Office Suites and basic computer skills required
• Reliable high speed home broadband internet connection with minimum 25 meg download and 10 meg upload speeds and ability to connect to home internet via ethernet cord is required if working remotely
