What You'll Do
As an Electrician, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of industrial electrical systems and manufacturing equipment throughout our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment
- Maintain motors, motor controls, drives, transformers, breakers, and electrical distribution systems
- Support PLCs, operator interface devices, robotics, VFDs, and automation technologies
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, raceways, panels, and equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, electrical drawings, and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform root cause analysis
- Support overhead cranes, battery charging systems, emergency power systems, and facility infrastructure
- Calibrate instrumentation, gauges, thermocouples, and control devices
- Assist with new equipment installations and continuous improvement projects
- Work safely while following all company, OSHA, NEC, NFPA, and environmental requirements
What We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician certification, electrical apprenticeship completion, technical degree, or equivalent industrial experience
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, steel, automotive, foundry, or heavy equipment environment
- Strong knowledge of:
- PLC troubleshooting
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Industrial motors and controls
- Robotics and automated systems
- Electrical schematics and blueprints
- Electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
