Pay: $80,000 – $100,000 Base Salary Bonus Opportunity

Location: Denver, CO (onsite, then hybrid)

Position Overview

A leading advisory firm specializing in transaction advisory, investment due diligence, risk mitigation, and financial consulting services is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Transaction Advisory Services team. This role will support financial due diligence engagements and assist clients throughout mergers, acquisitions, and investment transactions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting or transaction advisory services, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in both buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for private equity firms, family offices, mezzanine funds, corporations, lenders, and other investment groups.
• Assist in preparing comprehensive due diligence reports and client deliverables.
• Perform quality of earnings analyses and related financial reviews.
• Compile and maintain diligence request lists while monitoring virtual data rooms.
• Analyze income statements, balance sheets, and operating cash flows to identify key business trends and financial risks.
• Evaluate the financial operations of target companies to help quantify impacts on purchase or sale pricing.
• Communicate effectively with engagement leads and project teams throughout the diligence process.
• Collaborate with other advisory service divisions as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree preferred.
• CPA license preferred.
• Prior experience in Big 4 accounting, public accounting, or transaction advisory services required.
• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Naturally curious with a strong interest in transactions, financial analysis, and industry dynamics.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
• Flexibility to travel up to 10%.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 depending on experience.
