We are looking for a Garage Door Service Advisor who can combine mechanical ability with strong people skills and help homeowners feel confident in the solutions they choose.

This is not a "just fix it and leave" position. You will diagnose issues, explain options clearly, perform quality repairs, and create a great customer experience from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who is personable, coachable, mechanically inclined, and motivated by both craftsmanship and performance-based earnings.

Key Responsibilities

• Run residential service and repair calls in the field
• Inspect garage door systems thoroughly and identify safety and performance concerns
• Explain findings clearly and present repair or replacement options
• Complete repairs and installations cleanly, efficiently, and correctly
• Enroll customers in maintenance plans when appropriate
• Generate positive customer experiences, reviews, and repeat business
• Document work accurately and communicate with the office team
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing skills and high emotional intelligence
• Mechanical aptitude; garage door experience is helpful but not required
• Sales confidence without a pushy style
• Comfortable being measured on performance, quality, and customer outcomes
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check after a conditional offer, if required for the role.
  
  

Pay And Benefits

• W-2 Employment
• Schedule: Full-time; rotating on-call and Saturday coverage required
• $60,000 - $100,000 depending on experience
• Base pay starts at $25.00 per hour, and additional earnings are available through bonuses and commissions based on performance
• Some technicians currently earn the equivalent of approximately $35-$40 per hour, including incentive pay; higher earnings are performance-based.
