Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Technologist specializing in Special Chemistry, located at our Linden, NJ facility. The primary responsibilities include performing diagnostic laboratory tests, ensuring accurate and precise results, adhering to quality control standards, and maintaining compliance with safety protocols. The Medical Technologist will work collaboratively with other laboratory professionals to support healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine practices
- Strong Laboratory Skills and familiarity with Quality Control processes
- Experience or knowledge in Special Chemistry and related procedures
- Experience in HPLC / LCMS-MS highly preferred
- Detail-oriented with an ability to follow precise protocols and analyze results effectively
- Educational background in Medical Technology, Laboratory Science, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- ASCP or equivalent certification is highly desirable
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety regulations and laboratory compliance policies
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
