- Our client is a large enterprise organization supporting business intelligence, reporting, analytics, and data visualization initiatives across multiple business channels. The team partners closely with business stakeholders, data architecture, ETL, and reporting teams to transform business requirements into accurate, visually effective, and actionable reporting solutions.
- This position will support the continued modernization of departmental reporting, with a strong emphasis on Power BI, SQL-driven data sets, dashboard accuracy, reporting validation, and stakeholder-facing analytics.

- Serve as a Business Analyst supporting reporting, dashboarding, and business intelligence initiatives
- Gather, document, and translate stakeholder reporting requirements into actionable deliverables
- Design, develop, test, document, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and data visualization solutions
- Support Power BI reporting efforts, including dynamic dashboards, reporting packages, data models, and measures
- Develop or support SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, reporting views, and data sets for BI reporting
- Combine data from multiple internal and external sources to support reporting and analytics needs
- Validate reporting accuracy, troubleshoot data issues, and resolve data integrity concerns
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to demonstrate proposed reporting solutions
- Learn business processes, KPIs, and reporting objectives to provide stronger analytical recommendations
- Support recurring reporting cycles including daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and ad hoc reporting
- Communicate data extraction, data warehouse, and data mart needs to Data Architects and ETL teams
- Maintain and enhance existing reporting solutions while helping transition departmental reporting into Power BI
- This role is critical because the organization needs a business-facing reporting analyst who can bridge the gap between stakeholders, technical data teams, and BI reporting deliverables.
- The right individual will help improve reporting accuracy, strengthen data validation, modernize dashboarding capabilities, and ensure business leaders have clear, reliable, and visually effective reporting to support decision-making.
- Experience as a Business Analyst, BI Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, Reporting Developer, or similar role
- Strong experience with Power BI or comparable BI / reporting tools
- Experience building or supporting dashboards, data visualization solutions, and recurring reporting packages
- Strong SQL experience within SQL Server, Oracle, or relational database environments
- Ability to develop or support complex queries, scripts, stored procedures, reporting views, or data sets
- Experience gathering and translating stakeholder reporting requirements
- Strong data validation, reporting accuracy, troubleshooting, and data integrity experience
- Ability to package information in a clear, concise, professional, and visually appealing format
- Experience creating wireframes, mockups, dashboard prototypes, or reporting concepts
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across business users, technical teams, and leadership
- Experience partnering with Data Architects, ETL teams, or data warehouse / data mart teams
- Exposure to tools such as Tableau, SSRS, Report Builder, PowerPivot, SAS, DAX, R, Visual Basic, SSIS, ETL, or OLAP is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience
