WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
- Financial Operations Oversight: Manage all aspects of financial operations, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and the development of internal control policies and procedures. Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against plan and prepare financial performance reports.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements. Coordinate regulatory reporting and research technical accounting issues to ensure compliance, involving external experts if needed.
- Budget & Forecast Management: Collaborate with business units to develop financial plans and projections. Coordinate budget preparation and financial forecasts, and report variances.
- Cash Flow & Debt Management: Manage cash flow, debt financing, and debt service obligations with external agencies.
- Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
