Accountants One has been hired by a leading manufacturing company just south of the Atlanta Airport to recruit an Accounts Payable Representative to add to their growing team. This is a Contract-to-Hire or Direct Hire position offering a salary of $50,000 – $54,000, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling high-volume data entry and processing paper invoices. This position is based in Union City, GA, and will begin in-office for initial training before transitioning to a hybrid schedule. You must live within a commutable distance of the Union City office for consideration.

Job Duties

• Invoice Processing: Process 300–500 paper invoices per week, entering data accurately into both the AP system and the ERP system.
• Payment Disbursements: Process high-volume payment runs including paper checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
• Banking Operations: Load positive pay files directly into the corporate banking system.
• Reconciliations: Reconcile the Accounts Payable sub-ledger to the General Ledger, and assist with processing journal entries.
• Expense Management: Compile director expenses into the required format for headquarters.
• Office Support: Answer incoming calls and handle daily mail/postage duties as needed.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience processing high-volume invoices.
• Systems: Prior experience utilizing standard AP software and ERP systems for data entry.
• Skills: Strong data entry skills with high accuracy, specifically working with physical/paper invoicing.
• Education: High school diploma or higher.
