Accountants One is helping a long-term client hire a strategic and hands-on VP of Finance. This role will provide financial leadership across a portfolio of operating companies, real estate holdings, and work closely with the owner and their personal investments.
This individual will serve as a key advisor to ownership, leading cash management, forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, capital allocation, acquisitions, and financial reporting across a multi-entity environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with ownership on financial strategy and decision-making
- Lead cash management, treasury, and liquidity planning
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Develop financial reporting, KPIs, and performance analysis
- Evaluate acquisitions, investments, and growth opportunities
- Support due diligence and integration activities
- Provide oversight of accounting, controls, and financial reporting
- Lead and develop the accounting and finance team
Qualifications
- CPA highly preferred
- 8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, Director of Finance, Controller, or similar leadership role
- Strong cash management, treasury, and forecasting experience
- Multi-entity accounting and finance experience
- Experience partnering with business owners or executive leadership
- M&A and due diligence experience preferred
- Public accounting background preferred
