Accounting Manager

Accountants One is partnered with an established manufacturer of construction materials with a nationwide footprint to assist them in finding an Accounting Manager to join their team in Johns Creek.

The Accounting Manager reports directly to the Head of Accounting and is responsible for leading and developing a team of three direct reports and is responsible for overseeing the organization's general accounting operations, financial reporting, technical accounting, and internal control environment. This role manages the month-end close process, ensures accuracy and integrity of financial statements, and provides financial analysis to support business decision-making. The Accounting Manager serves as a strategic business partner across departments, leads key accounting initiatives, and manages a team of three accounting professionals.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with a combination of Big Four public accounting and corporate industry experience. Manufacturing and post-acquisition integration experience are preferred. This individual is a collaborative leader with strong technical accounting expertise, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA required.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration a plus.
• 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Combination of Big 4 public accounting and corporate industry accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
• Experience supporting post-acquisition integrations is preferred.
• Prior supervisory or people management experience preferred.
• JD Edwards and Power BI experience a plus.
