The role can be based in Birmingham, Atlanta, or Charlotte and is hybrid.
This established firm, with 16 years of proven success, focuses primarily on self-storage investments backed by prominent investors outside the venture capital space—empowering them to take an aggressive, strategic approach in the commercial real estate sector.
The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in financial operations and real estate fund accounting, with the ability to navigate complex financial environments confidently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or CFA certification is a must
- 3-5 years of experience in real estate fund accounting or finance, preferably within a real estate private equity firm
- Deep technical knowledge of real estate fund accounting principles, industry standards, and best practices
- Expertise in financial reporting and analysis, with the capability to interpret complex data and present insights to senior management and investors
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems relevant to the real estate industry
