JOB DUTIES
- Assist in recording and reconciling revenue transactions in accordance with company policies and GAAP.
- Support monthly and quarterly close processes by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Review customer contracts and billing data to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- Help maintain deferred revenue schedules and track revenue accruals.
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and Sales teams to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Assist in preparing revenue-related reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support audit requests and ensure proper documentation of revenue transactions.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and system upgrades.
- Analyze contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatments
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
- Revenue recognition standards (e.g., ASC 606).
