What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Manager position at Account-Eze, Inc.?
We are a small accounting company looking for someone to perform a variety of tasks. This position will be temporary for several months. Part time or full time available through to the end of the year and then full time starting in 2026. Some part time Saturday hours required in 2026 as well.
Duties include:
- Answer phone calls and greet clients
- Enter employee timesheets into software and reconcile timesheets on a regular basis
- Monthly print, label and mail invoices
- Order office supplies, letterhead etc. and keep organized
- Maintain postage levels, copier maintenance and shipping supplies
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- All accurate filing of paid bills, deposits, tax returns etc.
- QuickBooks experience is preferred, but not necessary
- Record deposits in QB and reconcile to timeslips software
- Tax form knowledge preferred, but not required
- Request W-9 forms from vendors and maintain list
- Maintain 1099 folders/lists, reconcile and mail 1099/1096 forms
- Assemble client tax returns for pickup or mail
- Other miscellaneous tasks as needed
