Pipe / Mechanical Lead Superintendent – Desalination
We are seeking a Pipe / Mechanical Lead Superintendent to support field execution for the Corpus Christi Desalination Plant.
This role is responsible for leading all mechanical and piping construction activities on site, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project schedule, quality, and design requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate mechanical and piping construction activities in the field
- Supervise crews, subcontractors, and specialty trades across multiple work fronts
- Oversee installation of process piping, pumps, pressure vessels, valves, and mechanical equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and construction standards
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, and Commissioning teams
- Support testing, mechanical completion, commissioning, and system turnover activities
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in industrial, water, wastewater, or desalination construction projects
- Strong background in mechanical and piping installation
- Experience leading large field crews and subcontractors on EPC or design-build projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and field leadership
- OSHA 30, NCCER, welding, rigging, or related certifications preferred
