Engineering Manager – Corpus Christi Desalination Plant
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead all engineering and technical activities for the Corpus Christi Desalination Plant, from design development through construction, commissioning, and handover to operations.
This role serves as the project’s technical authority, ensuring engineering deliverables are high quality, fully coordinated across disciplines, and aligned with contractual, regulatory, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, process, marine, and I&C systems
- Manage relationships with lead designers, consultants, vendors, and engineering partners
- Oversee design development, technical reviews, constructability, and value engineering
- Ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
- Support procurement, vendor integration, FATs/SATs, and technical issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Engineering
- Proven experience in large water, wastewater, or desalination infrastructure projects
- Strong background managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex technical interfaces
- Experience with marine intake/outfall systems and coastal permitting environments preferred
- Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of desalination technologies and plant operations
