- Perform diagnostic x-ray procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Operate imaging equipment, develop films, and prepare exam rooms with necessary supplies.
- Assist with patient transfers, take vital signs, and gather medical histories.
- Assist providers during procedures and ensure proper documentation of patient visits.
- Maintain equipment functionality and follow quality control procedures.
- Follow safety protocols, including radiation protection and shielding techniques.
- Maintain licensure and certifications, and seek ongoing knowledge improvement.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS certification and AR State X-Ray License required; ARRT certification preferred.
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is advantageous.
