Role: Respiratory Therapist II
Responsibilities: Provide advanced respiratory care, including medication administration, ventilator management, airway procedures, and patient assessments. Collaborate with healthcare team members, educate patients and staff, and ensure safety and quality standards. Participate in invasive and non-invasive procedures, pulmonary testing, and performance improvement initiatives. Support a team-oriented environment and promote evidence-based practice.
Qualifications: Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy, current NBRC-RRT certification, and appropriate state licenses. Requires 0-2 years of clinical experience, including at least 6 months in critical care. Skills include effective communication, critical thinking, relationship-building with healthcare professionals, and computer proficiency.
Additional skills: Ability to educate, mentor, and work independently in complex patient care situations, primarily in critical care settings.
