- Maintain clinical competence in the Cath Lab specialty and provide safe, high-quality patient care.
- Serve as a clinical resource, role model, and educator for nursing staff, preceptors, students, and other departments.
- Develop, revise, and evaluate standards of care, protocols, and procedures based on research and best practices.
- Coordinate and deliver education programs, in-service training, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Participate in data collection, research projects, and quality improvement efforts, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory and professional standards through documentation review and staff education.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess patient, family, and staff needs and ensure optimal care.
- Support staff in developing individualized care plans and monitor therapy progress.
- Current FL RN License and BLS required; ACLS preferred.
- CNOR certification and Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in the specialty, with at least two in a leadership role.
