Job Responsibilities
As a Caregiver / DSP / IDD Attendant, you may assist participants with daily living activities and community participation, including:
Companion Care Services
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Cooking meals and light housekeeping
- Shopping and running errands
- Assisting with home chores
- Attending medical appointments
- Playing games, making crafts, or watching favorite shows together
Community Support Services
- Helping individuals build social and adaptive skills
- Supporting participation in community activities
- Going to restaurants, movies, bowling, libraries, festivals, museums, and local events
- Encouraging independence and community engagement

Flexible Schedule Options
We offer flexible part-time caregiver schedules to fit your availability, including:

Caregiver Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Ability to lift or transfer up to 40 pounds by yourself, and up to 200 pounds with assistance
- Ability to obtain required Pennsylvania clearances:
o ACT 33
o ACT 34
o FBI Fingerprints
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience as a:
o Direct Support Professional (DSP)
o Caregiver
o Home Health Aide (HHA)
o Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
o Direct Care Worker
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
