Role Description The Tier One Technology Support Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Portland, OR, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role provides first-level technical support to clients, responding to helpdesk tickets, phone calls, and emails to resolve routine hardware, software, and connectivity issues. The specialist will perform troubleshooting on desktop computers and common business applications, document incidents and resolutions, and escalate more complex issues to higher-level support when needed. Day-to-day activities include guiding users through solutions in clear, accessible language, updating knowledge bases and procedures, and collaborating with the broader IT team to ensure consistent service. The individual in this role will also assist with basic system setups, account provisioning, and periodic checks to maintain a stable and secure technology environment for clients.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills for common hardware, software, and network issues.
- Candidates should possess working knowledge of Desktop Computers and core Information Technology concepts, including operating systems and business applications.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to assist non-technical users and collaborate with internal teams.
- Relevant experience in helpdesk or customer support environments, preferably within managed services or consulting firms.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and follow structured processes and documentation standards.
