Medical Scheduler – Full Time (Bilingual: English/Spanish)
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Call Center Environment
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Medical Scheduler to join our call center team. This full-time position plays a key role in helping patients access the care they need by providing efficient, accurate scheduling support over the phone. Position Summary
The Medical Scheduler is responsible for answering incoming calls, scheduling patient appointments, verifying information, and providing excellent service to every caller. This position requires strong communication skills in both English and Spanish to support our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities
Answer high-volume inbound calls in a professional, courteous manner
Schedule medical, dental, or specialty appointments accurately
Verify patient information and update records as needed
Provide clear instructions and information to patients
Follow scheduling protocols and organizational guidelines
Document all interactions in the electronic health record system
Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a call center, medical office, or customer service role preferred
Strong communication and active listening skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer and data-entry proficiency
Professional, patient-centered attitude
