Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner role located in Southwest Marion, MO. The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care services, including obtaining patient histories, performing physical examinations, diagnosing common conditions, and developing evidence-based treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing appropriate medications, and providing patient education on disease prevention, treatment, and healthy lifestyle choices. The role also involves coordinating care with physicians and other members of the healthcare team, maintaining accurate and timely medical records, and ensuring adherence to clinic protocols and regulatory requirements. Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri and national certification as an NP (e.g., family, adult-gerontology, or related specialty).
- Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and completion of required clinical training hours.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning abilities in a primary care or family practice setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in patient education, health promotion, and preventative care for diverse populations.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and accurate clinical documentation practices.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary care teams.
