Access Family Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in Joplin, Missouri. This part-time position offers a consistent schedule on Mondays and Tuesdays, providing an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the oral health of our patients while maintaining work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Provide preventive dental hygiene services, including cleanings, scaling, and root planing as appropriate
- Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Take and review dental radiographs
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care practices
- Assist in developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with dentists
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Deliver exceptional patient care in a welcoming and professional environment
Qualifications
- Current Dental Hygienist license in the State of Missouri
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Experience with electronic dental records preferred
