Behavioral Health Consultant
ACCESS Family Care – Southwest Missouri
ACCESS Family Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) to join our growing team. This role provides integrated behavioral health support within our primary care clinics and plays a key part in improving patient outcomes through brief interventions, assessments, and collaborative care.
Position Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Some flexibility in hours based on patient needs.
Travel: Local travel required between ACCESS Family Care clinic locations.
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Southwest Missouri
Minimum Requirements
Fully Missouri Licensed LCSW or LPC (required)
Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel
Key Responsibilities
Provide brief behavioral health interventions within a primary care setting
Conduct assessments, screenings, and crisis evaluations
Collaborate with medical providers to support integrated patient care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Participate in care team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
