ACCESS Family Care is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our Medical Clinic team in Joplin, Missouri. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings strong communication and organizational skills.
Position Overview
The Patient Service Representative is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and supportive experience. This position supports patient scheduling, check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and general office coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect necessary documentation
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the system
- Support daily office operations and collaborate with clinical staff
Required Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience
- Proficiency with computers and common office software
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Fluent in both Spanish and English
