What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCHH- Behavioral Health Consultant position at Nevada Regional Medical Center?
Pay: Base Salary $95,000
* Sign-on Incentive Available *
$5,000 after 30 days
$5000 after 6 months
$5000 after 12 months
3-year commitment and repayment to be pro-rated.
Essential Functions:
- Will support the care team in identifying and behaviorally intervening with patients to improve their physical health condition
- Will assist individuals in improving their health status and managing chronic illnesses.
- will assist with medication adherence, treatment plan adherence, self-management support and goal setting, and facilitate group classes.
- Interventions for individuals with behavioral health problems.
- Coaching sessions
Skills Abilities:
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers and patients.
- Ability to complete competency CPR and First Aid
- Ability to prioritize and compete multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
Working Conditions:
- Possible exposure to inside environmental conditions.
- Exposure to distressed patients, families, or visitors.
Physical Demands:
- Requires standing, sitting or walking for up to 8 hours or longer per day.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- LCSW, LMSW, LPC's: LMFT, Clinical Psychologists and/or individuals working towards certification and are currently in clinical supervision.
