You’re here to build what’s next, on a team that outperforms every norm.Visit us here to learn more about ​Accenture Infrastructure & Capital ProjectsTHE WORK:You’ll oversee project budgets, forecasts, and financial integrity in compliance with approved procedures.You’ll participate in monthly EAC (Estimate at Completion) reviews, validating data and explaining variances.You’ll support change management by identifying risks, emerging trends, and financial exposures.You’ll contribute to Risk Assessment workshops, analyzing financial impacts and recommending mitigations.You’ll conduct cost variance analyses to identify trends and address potential budget impacts.You’ll monitor financial performance over time, comparing projected vs. actual results.You’ll review budgets, expenditures, and funding sources to ensure financial alignment and compliance.You’ll collaborate with schedulers to assess cost/schedule performance, identifying overruns, delays, and variances.You’ll analyze staffing plans for cost efficiency, addressing peaks and resource allocation issues.You’ll validate cost coding, allocations, and impacts of contract changes, amendments, and task orders.You’ll enforce cost management policies, ensure accurate financial tracking, and perform reconciliations.You’ll prepare clear financial reports and forecasts using tools such as e-Builder, Proliance, and DELTEK.You’ll support project teams and leadership with ongoing cost reporting, data entry, audits, and special projects.Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships. There will be both day and night shift assignments.HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:7 - 10 years minimum recent professional experience in project controls, particularly on a capital construction programBS/BA Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, and/or related degree. Additional years of qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be substituted in lieu of formal educationStrong analytical capabilities, with the ability to organize and interpret complex financial dataProficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel functionsProficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and the ability to perform tasks such as creating documents, analyzing data, preparing presentations, and managing emails efficiently is expectedBONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:Advanced proficiency with program management software including e-Builder, DELTEK, Proliance, and other related platforms, with demonstrated ability to leverage these tools for complex cost management, project tracking, and data reportingExpertise in business intelligence and analytics tools, specifically Power BI and/or Tableau, for the creation of comprehensive, real-time cost reports, dashboards, and visualizations that facilitate strategic decision-makingHands-on experience with Data Warehousing solutions, demonstrating the ability to integrate and manage large volumes of financial and project data for analytical purposes and reportingStrong understanding of cost control and budgeting principles within the context of large-scale projects, with a proven track record of utilizing specialized software to streamline cost analysis, forecasting, and variance reportingIn-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain accurate project cost baselines, financial projections, and cost forecastsDemonstrated ability to integrate multiple data sources from various project management and financial systems to create cohesive and accurate financial reports for stakeholdersAbility to troubleshoot and resolve system integration issues across project management software and financial reporting tools, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy in financial reportingCompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
