Throughout your experience as an Accelevation intern, you'll receive one-on-one mentorship and valuable opportunities to build your skills and confidence through meaningful, real-world projects that make an impact on the business.
In addition to your internship project assignment, you’ll participate in dedicated roundtable discussions with Accelevation executives and senior leaders, presentations delivered by various leaders on their respective areas of the business, and outings with your peers.
Upon successful completion of the internship, candidates may be considered for full-time opportunities with Accelevation following graduation.

You’ll work closely with experienced accounting professionals in a collaborative environment designed to support learning, growth, and professional development.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Supporting administration of the company’s travel and expense (T&E) reporting tool, including reviewing expense reports for policy compliance
- Assisting employees with T&E submissions and escalating discrepancies or policy exceptions as needed
- Preparing general ledger account reconciliations with proper supporting documentation
- Assisting with preparation and posting of standard journal entries as needed
- Supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities within established deadlines
- Assisting with preparation of audit support and documentation for periodic financial statement audits
- Performing intuitive ad-hoc reporting and basic financial analysis as requested
- Reviewing financial data to help identify discrepancies or opportunities for process improvement
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards
- Assisting with the development and documentation of accounting procedures and controls
- Collaborating with team members to support ongoing accounting initiatives and projects
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or a recent graduate)
- Exposure to accounting coursework and a basic understanding of GAAP preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn
- Ability to function effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- High level of integrity and discretion, with the ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
