Quality Assurance Manager
Overview
Our client, a well-established manufacturing organization, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead and enhance its quality systems and processes. This role will oversee quality assurance operations, ensure compliance with ISO standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures, standards, and specifications
- Establish testing protocols for raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods
- Ensure all products meet internal and customer quality standards
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities
- Investigate quality issues and lead corrective and preventive action initiatives
- Utilize quality management systems to track, analyze, and resolve quality concerns
- Lead and develop quality assurance and receiving teams, including performance management and training
- Partner with suppliers to improve quality and resolve vendor-related issues
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency
- Serve as a technical resource for customer quality issues and lead resolution efforts
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and company standards
- Facilitate quality meetings and drive continuous improvement programs
- Maintain accurate documentation and quality records
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of relevant experience, OR
- Associate degree with 8–10 years of progressive experience, OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Skills
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality standards
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio)
- Experience with ERP, CRM, and Quality Management Systems
Preferred
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience
Additional Information
- This role includes direct supervisory responsibility for quality and receiving staff
- Requires a strong presence on the manufacturing floor
- Personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, is required in designated areas
