Our client, a global manufacturer, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their Madison, WI location. Primary responsibilities:
- Serve as a key contributor to the FP&A function, supporting financial planning and analysis activities
- Lead and enhance financial reporting for actuals, forecasts, budgets, and historical performance
- Consolidate and analyze data from multiple systems across global business units
- Maintain and improve reporting tools to ensure accuracy and consistency across departments
- Support monthly reporting and create presentations for executive leadership and board-level audiences
- Assist in reporting, including expense tracking, invoice review, and cost analysis
- Participate in annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Partner with Accounting team to resolve technical accounting issues and provide technical accounting guidance
- Support financial systems implementations and IT-driven initiatives
- Analyze business unit performance including sales, operations, and cost drivers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership to meet organizational goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required
- 4 years of financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP (IFRS knowledge a plus)
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP and reporting systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and drive projects to completion
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically.
