Production Supervisor-ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE!
Our client is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in a plastic extrusion manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is responsible for driving results across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) while supervising, coaching, and developing production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily extrusion operations, including startups, changeovers, and shutdowns
- Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are met
- Monitor line performance, troubleshoot process or equipment issues, and reduce downtime
- Enforce OSHA and plant safety standards; lead incident investigations
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Scheduling teams
- Lead and develop operators through coaching, training, and performance management
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, scrap reduction, 5S)
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3–5 years of manufacturing experience
- 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Plastic extrusion or polymer processing experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Strong knowledge of production processes, materials, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
