About the Role
As a Manufacturing Operations Lead, you will spearhead daily production workflows to maximize output efficiency and maintain rigorous quality standards. You will drive operational excellence by mentoring high-performing teams, implementing Lean methodologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and workplace safety.
Responsibilities- Direct daily manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules are met while adhering to strict product specifications.
- Mentor and develop production personnel through effective scheduling, performance coaching, and accountability initiatives.
- Champion Lean manufacturing practices, including 5S and waste reduction, to optimize workflows and decrease operational costs.
- Monitor critical KPIs—such as safety, quality, and delivery—to proactively identify and resolve production bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with engineering and supply chain departments to ensure seamless material flow and inventory accuracy.
- Conduct routine safety audits and enforce compliance protocols to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.
Required Skills
- Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing leadership, with at least 2 years in a direct management capacity.
- Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing principles, quality management systems, and industrial safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and modern production management software.
- Strong analytical skills for tracking production metrics and implementing corrective actions.
Preferred Skills
- Lean or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience operating various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts.
- Demonstrated success in driving cross-functional collaboration and operational innovation.
