About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to provide on-site programming, optimization, and support across various locations. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in ESPRIT CAM software to enhance machining processes and support new machine installations. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, customer-oriented, and proficient in diverse machining environments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver CNC programming solutions and technical assistance at customer and company sites.
- Develop and refine CNC programs using ESPRIT CAM for a range of machines, including mills, lathes, and multi-axis systems, to optimize production efficiency.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to define effective machining strategies.
- Conduct program simulations in ESPRIT to validate toolpaths and prevent machine collisions, ensuring smooth operations.
- Provide on-site support for machine setup and first-article runs to ensure seamless production launches.
- Address and resolve machining issues, implementing effective corrective actions to maintain quality and performance.
- Create thorough documentation of CNC programs and setup procedures for effective knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Extensive experience in CNC machine programming using ESPRIT CAM software.
- Practical experience with CNC machining and machine setup procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of multi-axis CNC machines and controllers, such as Fanuc, Siemens, and Mazak.
- Proficiency in interpreting complex blueprints and GD&T specifications.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting multiple facilities or customer sites, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software platforms beyond ESPRIT, enhancing problem-solving capabilities.
- A technical degree or equivalent practical experience in a manufacturing setting.
