About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to contribute to the construction of high-quality doors. In this role, you will interpret work orders, assemble door components, and ensure precise alignment and quality standards are met. Your expertise in material handling and visual inspection will be crucial to our production goals.
Responsibilities- Interpret production tickets to understand specific door construction requirements.
- Retrieve and prepare materials, including applying adhesives and aligning components.
- Assemble doors by positioning skins and cores according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment.
- Conduct visual quality checks to verify accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Operate lift tables and transfer carts to move door stacks efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Ability to read and interpret production tickets and quality specifications.
- Proficiency in performing visual quality checks and identifying defects.
- Strong understanding of door construction techniques and component types.
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy materials (up to 50-80 lbs).
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
