About the Role
As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a vital contributor to operational excellence by ensuring the reliability and peak performance of complex industrial machinery. You will leverage your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and enhance the safety of our production environment.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures to restore production capabilities.
- Oversee the installation and calibration of new industrial equipment while ensuring full compliance with safety and GMP standards.
- Maintain precise documentation of repairs, spare parts inventory, and maintenance logs within computerized management systems.
- Implement facility-wide improvements to HVAC, lighting, and electrical infrastructure to support long-term site reliability.
- Uphold rigorous safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout and hot-work procedures, to foster a secure work environment.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, or pneumatic systems.
- Proven ability to interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Competency with digital work order systems and basic industrial software.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in industrial settings while wearing necessary safety gear.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
