What You’ll Do
Coordinate and schedule transportation for resident appointments, hospital visits, dialysis, admissions, discharges, and other approved trips
Review transportation requests to ensure all required details are complete and accurate
Manage daily and weekly driver schedules while adjusting for last-minute changes
Coordinate with outside transportation vendors regarding availability, pickups, cancellations, and schedule updates
Determine whether trips should be assigned internally or outsourced based on timing, transport level, and operational needs
Track completed, canceled, rescheduled, and missed transports
Review trip sheets, transportation logs, and vendor invoices for accuracy
Assist with transportation billing review and documentation follow-up
Identify billing discrepancies, duplicate charges, and questionable invoices before approval
Maintain organized transportation records and prepare reports as needed
Help monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary expenses
Troubleshoot transportation issues including delays, missed pickups, and scheduling conflicts
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in transportation scheduling, dispatching, healthcare coordination, skilled nursing, or medical transportation required
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and follow-up skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Experience reviewing invoices, logs, billing records, or transportation documentation preferred
Comfortable handling schedule changes and urgent requests professionally and efficiently
