Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical building systems, including HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems, in compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.
- Produce mechanical drawings, models, and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Perform load calculations, equipment selections, and system sizing for mechanical systems.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Review project specifications, perform site visits, and support construction administration activities.
- Prepare reports, scope of work documents, and client-facing technical presentations.
- Ensure deliverables meet project quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Support permitting processes and work with regulatory agencies as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited program (mandatory).
- Proven experience in building system design for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License required or ability to obtain one in the near future.
- Proficiency in Revit for mechanical design and modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing interactions.
