Job Summary
We are a growing Bergen County CPA firm seeking a Tax Senior with at least 5 years of CPA-firm tax experience. CPA preferred, not required with strong skills in reviewing and preparing complex returns for commercial real estate partnerships, construction companies, manufacturers, distributors, and other closely held businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and high-net-worth individuals
- Handle multi-state filing requirements, nexus considerations, and allocation/apportionment issues
- Research and resolve tax questions for clients proactively
- Manage workflow, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly with clients and partners
- Supervise staff as needed
- Support tax planning, projections, and transactional matters
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of tax experience in a CPA firm
- Strong competency with pass-through entities
- Experience with real estate/construction/manufacturing strongly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple engagements without drama
- Solid working knowledge of CCH Prosystem fx and tax research tools
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
