Senior Process Engineer - Wet Etch

Acara Solutions is hiring a Senior Process Engineer for our Newport Beach client's Wet Etch department. This is a full time direct hire position with great benefits.Salary: 1000-175k, DOE.Overview: sustain, improve, and develop wet etch processes in a high-volume manufacturing facility. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver products on time, improve process capabilities, and drive quality and reliability.Responsibilities:Sustain and improve wet etch processes in a high-volume manufacturing environmentMonitor and control wet etch processes, troubleshoot yield problems, and develop process enhancementImplement new processes to address quality and bottleneck situationsInstall and qualify new tools and process technologiesSupport process and technology transfers, and participate in troubleshooting taskforcesRequired Skills / Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fieldMinimum 3 years of wet etch process engineering experience in fast paced manufacturing environmentPreferred Skills / Qualifications:Demonstrated knowledge of wet etch principles, theories, concepts, and techniquesExpertise with Akrion, DNS, SEZ, and/or Semitool wet etch tools and processesStrong organizational and leadership skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize shifting business needsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work in a global team environmentExperience with design of experiment techniques, data analysis, and statistical analysis software (e.g., JMP) Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred Six sigma certification preferredKnowledge of PROMIS WIP management and JMP statistical analysis software preferredExperience with lean manufacturing and six sigma processes preferred Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
