Acara Solutions is seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity located in Austin, TX or Houston, TX. This position will oversee the execution of large-scale Electrical and Automation construction projects within a high-tech factory environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, construction management expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality in fast-paced, complex projects.

What to Expect
As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction of manufacturing facilities. You will serve as the primary coordinator of field operations, working cross-functionally with base build, construction engineering, and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams including Project Coordinators, Buyers, Superintendents, and craft labor.
- Oversee all phases of electrical construction from planning through execution and closeout.
- Champion job site safety and construction quality standards.
- Conduct constructability reviews to identify opportunities for design optimization.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget with effective change control processes.
- Identify and mitigate risks while seizing opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and commissioning.
- Ensure alignment with the client's quality assurance and control protocols.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience managing large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to effectively present information
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and scheduling software (Microsoft Projects) able to identify and implement the best method to communicate or plan a project and scopes
- Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and managing changes to construction design documents with ability to provide constructability feedback
- Ability to travel to various project locations as needed (up to 50%), often on short notice
Salary : $140,000 - $180,000
