School Activities Director

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate School Activities Director to lead and coordinate a vibrant array of extracurricular programs that enrich student life and foster a positive school community. In this role, you will design, implement, and oversee diverse activities that promote student engagement, leadership, and personal growth. Your energetic approach will inspire students to participate actively in school events, clubs, and community service initiatives, creating an inclusive environment where every student feels valued and motivated. This 11 months contracted (12 months paid) position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the extracurricular landscape of our educational institution while collaborating with faculty, staff, students, and parents to cultivate a lively and supportive school culture.

Duties

• Create content for and manage the school's social media platforms.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive calendar of school activities, including clubs, sports events, cultural programs, and community engagement projects.
• Coordinate logistics for events such as assemblies, competitions, field trips, and celebrations to ensure smooth execution.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate extracurricular activities with academic goals and student development objectives.
• Foster a welcoming environment that encourages student participation across diverse interests and backgrounds.
• Lead the recruitment, training, and supervision of student leaders and volunteers involved in various activities.
• Maintain safety protocols during all events while ensuring compliance with school policies and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, and community partners to promote upcoming activities and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Proven ability to organize, coordinate, and oversee multiple projects or events simultaneously.
• Strong background in working with students in educational or extracurricular settings.
• Excellent communication skills to motivate students and collaborate with staff effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire teamwork and foster a positive school climate.
