Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and optimization of machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The Maintenance Engineer will collaborate with other team members to maintain a safe working environment and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, including motors, belts, and pumps.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment failures and downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Work with maintenance management software to track work orders and inventory of parts.
- Collaborate with production teams to understand equipment issues and develop effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance processes.
- Assist in the training of maintenance staff and help develop their skills.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide input on efficiency enhancements.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and perform repairs as needed.

**Qualifications:**

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a similar role.
- knowledge of electrical systems, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical HVAC, dry wall, painting etc. 
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings weekends and  holidays as needed.

**Physical Requirements:**

- Ability to lift up to [50 lbs.] and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
